Terms of Service
The plain-English terms that apply when you use this site or work with us.
1. Who we are
Kurly Technology is the web-design and AI-automation studio of Kurly Brains, based in Kathmandu, Nepal. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean Kurly Technology; "you" means the person or business using this site or engaging our services.
2. Using this website
You're welcome to browse the site and contact us. Please don't misuse it — that includes attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it, or scraping it to impersonate us. Content and designs on this site are ours unless credited otherwise.
3. Quotes and proposals
Anything on this site is information, not a binding offer. A project becomes an agreement only when we've shared a written quote or proposal and you've approved it. That proposal — its scope, timeline, and price — sits alongside these terms and takes priority if the two ever disagree.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us the content, access, and approvals we need, in good time.
- Make sure anything you hand us (text, images, logos, data) is yours to use.
- Review and respond at each stage so the project keeps moving.
5. Payment
Unless your proposal says otherwise, projects are quoted as a fixed price, usually split into a deposit to begin and the balance at launch. Care plans and retainers are billed monthly. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice.
6. Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, the final deliverables — code, design, and content we created for you — are yours. Until then, they remain ours. We may keep our own underlying tools, libraries, and know-how, and we may show finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
7. Third-party services
Builds often rely on third-party services (hosting, domains, payment providers, APIs). Those have their own terms, and we're not responsible for their outages, changes, or pricing.
8. Warranties and liability
We take real care with our work, but the site and our services are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the work it relates to.
9. Ending an engagement
Either side can end a project with reasonable written notice. If you do, you pay for work completed up to that point. We may pause or stop work on overdue invoices.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our work evolves. The current version always lives on this page with its effective date.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Kathmandu.
